Examination

Each new patient will have a first visit consisting of: patient history, complaint history, orthopedic examination, neurological examination, muscle testing, and movement assessment. X-Rays may be taken on the first, or any subsequent, visit when clinically necessary and recent images are not available. Further testing (advanced imaging: MRI, CT, ultrasound; orthopedic referral, etc.) may be warranted depending on severity/complexity of complaint; if needed, a referral for one of these services will be discussed with you before action is taken.

Report of findings

Immediately following examination, the patient will be presented with all exam findings as well as discussion of the best treatment options for the individual. At Kees Chiropractic, we want to provide you with a clear understanding of your body’s function and what chiropractic can do for you!

Treatment

Treatment (typically a combination of adjustments and soft-tissue work) will take place when the doctor concludes it is in the patient’s best interest and necessary, this occurs after the doctor has conducted their report of findings.

Further treatment beyond the first visit may range from 15-45 minutes, depending on the specific needs for each patient's treatment.
